The alternatives
1. bananaleaf.ai — the AI-native CRM
An AI sales agent on your own WhatsApp number and Instagram account that answers from your price sheet, books appointments and writes the deal record, with a pipeline that moves itself. No public price; the plan is set per organisation. Not for you if you want a public price today and a plan you can start on a card without a call.
- The AI agent is the product, not an add-on: it answers from your price sheet, books the appointment and writes the deal record.
- Bookings are native. A clinic or villa gets a calendar the assistant books into, with no third-party tool.
- Click-to-WhatsApp leads carry their ad, and stage changes go back to Meta so the ads learn which clicks became customers.
2. AiSensy
AiSensy is a WhatsApp marketing platform built around broadcasts and drag-and-drop chatbots, with an AI Agent Builder sold as an add-on.
- Pricing: Base plan price not visible in the page text we read; Monthly, Quarterly (5% off) and Yearly (10% off) billing are mentioned (its own page, 29 October 2026).
- AI: WhatsApp AI Agent Builder at ₹1,350 a month, with 1,000 AI messages.
- CRM: Not described on the pricing page; a LeadSquared integration is listed.
3. Interakt
Interakt is a WhatsApp marketing and support platform with a separately priced Sales CRM plan and an AI Agents add-on.
- Pricing: Growth $55 and Advanced $69 a month; Sales CRM ₹2,499 a month. Quarterly 8% off, yearly 20% off; discounted prices not shown (its own page, 29 October 2026).
- AI: AI Agents add-on, ₹2,499 a month with 100 AI messages on the Sales CRM page.
- CRM: Sales CRM with pipelines and auto-assignment of WhatsApp leads.
4. Gallabox
Gallabox is a WhatsApp inbox, broadcast and chatbot platform with public rupee prices and AI credits included by plan.
- Pricing: Basic ₹2,999, Essential ₹6,999, Advanced ₹16,999 a month on quarterly billing; ₹2,399 / ₹5,599 / ₹13,599 a month on annual billing (its own page, 29 October 2026).

- Pricing: Starter, Pro and Enterprise named; no prices listed (its own page, 29 October 2026).
- AI: "AI agents built into every plan".
- CRM: Not listed on its pricing page.
6. Gupshup
Gupshup is an enterprise conversational-AI and messaging platform (WhatsApp, RCS, SMS, voice, Instagram) with a self-serve WhatsApp API priced per message and enterprise features priced on request.
- Pricing: Self-serve: "a standard 0.001 USD per message fee", with WhatsApp's charges "billed at actuals"; prices shown in USD only, no INR card. Enterprise features and pricing are on a separate request page (its own page, 2 November 2026).
- AI: Not part of the self-serve page. The home page sells "Gupshup AI Agents", an AI co-pilot for human agents and a Conversation Cloud to enterprises; no price shown.
- CRM: Not listed on the pricing page or the home page.
How to choose
Ask each vendor for one monthly total: platform fee, extra users, the AI agent, and an estimated message bill at Meta's rates for your market. Then ask the two questions that separate an inbox from a CRM: who owns each lead, and what happens to a lead nobody answered.
Questions people ask
What is the best Wati alternative for a clinic or a small business?
It depends on what you need first: a published price and a shared inbox, or an AI agent with a pipeline and bookings. The list below gives each tool's own published price and what it does differently, so you can compare one monthly total.
Can I move my WhatsApp number from Wati?
Yes. Meta allows a WhatsApp Business number to move between providers; old chats stay on the old platform, so export what you need first.
Is bananaleaf.ai cheaper than Wati?
We cannot say from public pages. Wati publishes plan prices; bananaleaf.ai sets its plan per organisation after a call. Ask both for one monthly total that includes users, the AI agent and your expected message volume.
Does Wati charge extra for WhatsApp messages?
Yes. Wati's pricing page says additional charges apply for messages, based on its own rate card, and does not state a markup on that page.
Can I use Wati's AI agent on the cheapest plan?
Not according to Wati's pricing page: the Growth plan does not include Astra AI agents, and on Pro they are a separately priced add-on.
